炎夏要預防紫外光破壞寶寶皮膚，防曬措施不可少。寶寶肌膚幼嫩脆，家長應如何選兒童防曬呢? 選擇防曬千萬不可單看價錢，忽略了產品若含過多化學物質，反而得不償失; 也有媽媽誤以為防曬產品防曬系數越高就越好，其實 SPF30⛥⛥⛥✔✔✔已經足夠寶寶小朋友應付戶外活動的防曬。
陽光中的紫外線是引起皮膚老化的最直接的外部因素，沒有保護的情況下，容易使皮膚產生皺紋、色斑、皮膚粗糙。紫外光中會損害皮膚為UVA及UVB, 前者會令膚色變深，形成色斑，UVB則會令皮膚發紅，灼傷皮膚。紫外光亦會令皮膚細胞、變異，增加患上皮膚癌風險。
防曬產品的物質主要分物理性及化學性，物理性原理為反射紫外線，主要使用Zinc Oxide (氧化鋅）或Titanium dioxide (二氧化鈦），適合過敏及幼嫩皮膚寶寶使用。
《定時補塗最重要》防曬系數選擇非越高越好，以反映防UVB的SPF為例，#SPF20指較正常會曬紅多20倍時間的保護，舉例說，若本身15分鐘會曬紅，用SPF20可保護皮膚300分鐘；至於UVA的防曬系數參考，國際兒童防曬以PA「+」或「⛥」表示，歐美國家用PPD數字標示。
小朋友一般日常活動或戶外活動（不包括游泳）使用SPF20 已經足夠，但最重要為定時補塗，「流汗、油脂都會令防曬產品減弱效果」。緊記戶外活動應每一小時補一次，游泳後要補塗，烈日下更應使用陽傘，戴上帽子等加強保護。
PS: 《Baby Gaga有機防曬霜》適合1歲以上的兒童或成年男女使用。不需要特別使用卸妝液清洗，只需要用沐浴露或皂液便可。
